 Ripping Movies With DVD2SVCD

1.      Start by going to my computer. Then to your C Drive. When in C drive go to file and create a new folder. Name the folder the name of the movie you are ripping. For this demo it will be Flubber.

2.      Next open DVD2SVCD Choose Misc tab and Default output folder, set default output folder. Choose the folder you created.

3.      This step is optional  A. Go to www.Amazon.com and look up a movie you want to rip. B. Click on picture of movie until it is largest size. Then Rt click on picture and save to same folder you created earlier. (Flubber) Change save name to flubber or anything you want but not what pops into file name. Click Save.

C. Go to tab CD Image. Make sure title picture is checked then click on folder next to title picture name and go to folder (flubber) and pick the picture you just saved.

D.Click open after selecting picture.

4. Go to conversion tab. (Make sure DVD is in DVD rom. Top tray) Click the cd button on the page. Next to the go button.

It now should look like below. If it says no cd in tray just click cancel.

Make sure selected section on bottom has a check in the one that says englesh and 6 channel or highest number of channels.

You may also choose Auto shutdown box if you want the computer to shut off when complete.

4.      Click on GO and rip and convert. Next choose ok.

Now all you need to do is wait for it to complete. It is best to start a rip before going to bed. It can take 6 or more hours to rip a movie. Sometimes less but average is at least 4-5 hours. When it is done you will end up with files called a bin and cue file. These will be used to burn the 2 or 3 CD's that will be made.

Now go to Burning Movies with Nero.
